Rich For A Day

I feel that I can be rich without the 100 billion dollars because you do not need a lot of money to be rich. To be truly rich, you need to have happiness and that is why the millionaires and billionaires around the world are not rich, while others may consider them rich. Actors and actresses are not rich but they do have a lot of money, Charlie Sheen is not rich but he has a lot of money that he spends on drugs. One thing that all of these people have in common, besides the fact that they all have lots of cash, is that they are not happy.

         People who may live in subsidized housing may be richer than Charlie Sheen because of the fact that they are happy. People continually try to buy things to fill this void that they have, but what they don’t realize that they need to just be content with what they have to be really happy and then in turn they will be rich. If people aren’t happy they also sometimes use other outlets such as drugs and porn to try to be happy, but they start to pull a ‘Charlie Sheen’ and their life starts to go down hill. We don’t need anymore Charlie Sheens, what our world needs is more people who can be rich without having a great deal of money, those who can live on only making $50,000 a year.

         People who do have a lot of money can also be happy, but most of them are not happy at all. They always are moving from relationship to relationship never attempting to make the most out of one relationship and trying to make the other person happy. Humans are meant to be together, we are not supposed to be alone, although some people actually think that this is able to occur, but for thousands of years, humans have needed to have others around us. We would not survive alone because of our nature of being together with others.

         Charlie Sheen is a good actor, but there is not a single drop of richness is his sad meaningless life because he has not stopped to smell the flower, that is when he isn’t stoned out of his mind. He hasn’t experienced true happiness because he tries to fill that void he has with things that can’t last forever. I, on the other hand, do not have a lot of things and know what a flower smells like because I do not need to fill some void with things that do not last. I do not smell flowers when I am stoned out of my mind because I don’t need drugs to know that I am not a rich person. While I am considered to be a person without a lot of things, I consider my self to be a rich person because of the fact that I have a home to live in, clothes to wear and food to eat, and that is the truth that I don’t need 100 billion dollars to be rich.
